I’m Elise, the artist behind Mountain Poppy Design Co.

My love for creating comes from a place of curiosity and exploration of new places, ideas, techniques, & mediums.

I’m an advocate for the pursuit of creativity and finding joy in the little moments, and I hope to inspire others to seek the same.

Born and raised in Colorado, nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the desert, I’ve always felt deeply connected to the adventure and beauty of the natural world. Whether hiking, skiing, backpacking, or traveling, the outdoors inspires my creativity and fills the pages of my sketchbook with new ideas.

I approach art with a fluid mindset, embracing multiple subjects and mediums. For me, creating is an exploration—allowing materials and experiences to shape and influence my practice in unexpected ways.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art with a dual focus on Drawing and Electronic Art in 2020 and launched Mtn Poppy Co. in the summer of 2021. Pursuing an artistic path has always been my calling, I’m so grateful to be able to witness my passion evolving into a thriving creative journey.

I believe growth is a continuous process, and I’m always excited for the next project, idea, or opportunity to expand my craft.
